[Flash 10 is required to watch video]

A little backstory to this clip before you watch it:

Will Smith’s father abandoned him and his mother when he was a child, and when Will was finally getting into show business and making a name for himself, he tried to sneak his way back into his life like nothing happened. Will co-wrote this episode, and James Avery (Uncle Phil) said “this scene was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to shoot in my life. Every emotion, every word.. that was Will”

Will was actually supposed to play it off and then walk away, and there was originally an alternate scene that was supposed to happen, but he actually completely cut out what was supposed to be said, and did all of his own dialogue. The hug at the end of this scene is completely genuine, and this was a stepping stone in Will’s career where he started to take on the “do what feels, sounds, and looks right” approach to his acting.

Toonami Comes Back To Cartoon Network On May 26th!!!
Holy crap, you guys! If you don’t know what Toonami is, go away. If you’re awesome, read ahead for the full programming schedule.
12:00 a.m. - Bleach
12:30 a.m. - Fullmetal Alchemist
1:00 a.m. - Durarara!!
1:30 a.m. - Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
2:00 a.m. - FLCL
2:30 a.m. - Cowboy Bebop
3:00 a.m. - Bleach
3:30 a.m. - Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG
4:00 a.m. - Bleach
4:30 a.m. - Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
5:00 a.m. - Durarara!!
5:30 a.m. - Cowboy Bebop
Kinda’ bummed that they’re doing old-ass shows instead of pumping out newer freshness, but hey! Toonami’s back!
(via Comics Alliance)

i like that they’re FMA Brotherhood instead of the old FMA??? that’s good
Hopefully newer stuff will start happening after they re-run a whole series or something though!! (I have my fingers crossed for Madoka when that gets dubbed)

I’m pretty sure CN was airing FMA:B anyway, though I think they stopped part of the way through? if they’re really airing both in the same night that might be confusing for some people so I wonder if they’ll keep that up
anyway this was pretty much what I predicted, Durarara included
I assume as time goes on more newer stuff will get added, but it’ll probably be like this for a while… I mean, not even just on their side of things, but I assume a lot of shows that are coming out now probably aren’t licensed for airing on TV and such so that’ll have to be worked out?? I’m not sure how that works, exactly…

I’m still hoping Tiger & Bunny makes it to Toonami.

I said this on Twitter earlier, but if their dubs are decent enough, I would totally rewatch Tiger & Bunny and/or Heroman if they aired on it dubbed, which is something I wouldn’t normally do because I prefer subs but both of those can be rather… AMERICA… at times, so…

so basically Adult Swim is staying the same old largely boring lineup while adding in shows most anime fans have already seen?
color me unimpressed

No Gundam Wing :c?

They gotta have Naruto mang -___-

It’s actually true :’)
